Spring Flowers

To complete this shoot it required me to take photo of a bunch of fresh flowers. The reason why I decided to use fresh flowers for this shoot is because spring is all about new beginnings and new life.

My favourite image from this shoot is called Close Up. What I like about this image is how well the camera has focused on the pink flower: the detail in each individual petal presented. Also if you look into the background you will notice that it is all blurry, even the yellow flower behind it. This is a photography technique called Shallow depth In field.

I also like the close up image of the flower in a black and white edit because in this effect you can see the detail in each of the petals and leaves more clearly then the image in colour.
