Christmas Shoot

By taking this shoot at this time of the year has gotten me all excited for christmas time, as it is one of my favourite holidays. Throughout this shoot i came to realise that they are so many christmas decorations and so many different way to present them.

This is a christmas snow globe i took outside a shop. What i like about this image is how the glass has distorted the background into a ball. By creating an unusual composition, starting from the centre of the photo an working its way out. I also decided to edit this image on Instagram by adjusting the contrast to make the shadows bolder compared the lighter areas.

Here is another photo of a christmas decoration from when i went to Next home. The composition in this photo is different from the rest because the main focal point is the snow acorn which leads you eyes across the snowy branch to the background of the image. The reason why i decided to present this in black and white effect is because you can clearly see the detail and shadowing shown in the picture from the snow.
