Passing of Time

For my final shoot from this season I have decided to be more creative by creating a collection of work that shows dedication. The process of this topic was to take a photograph of one tree every other day. My main aim for this topic was to document the process of transiting of tree during the season of Autumn. For me I fell like this shoot is one of my longest because it required me to take photographs of this tree for about 6 weeks, so patience was my key to success. The reason why the process took so long is because the tree took a long time for its leaves to turn from a healthy green to a warm orange. After I have finally finished this shoot, I collected my images and blended them together on Photoshop. If you would like to know how I did this, read my step by step Photoshop post.

Above this is one of the finishing products from this shoot. Looking at the finished product you can see that some parts of the image is blurred and a bit distorted, which is what I like about it because it is showing the viewer that there is more than one image layered on top. Also I want my viewer to think about what is going on in this photo? I want them to question is the positioning of the house really there or not. They are many questions that can get my viewer thinking about this work because if they are questioning it then they are thinking into depth about it and what is the meaning I am trying to get across? Is it that time passes by too quick and we are too passive to realise what is going on around us; not paying attention to the tiny details in nature and too engrossed in our digital device to notice what is going on in the world around us.
