Merry Gee

For my artist research link I have decided to look on pinterest for other people work which is similar to my shoot on Autumn Boots.

Unfortunately the pinner Merry Gee hasn't named this photo of her converse in the leaves. What I like about this image is the unusual view point (behind) she has used to make the make the image stand out more. Also if you look carefully at this image it has a strong composition starting from the back of her converse and leading all the way up to the top, while including the autumn colours in the background. When I look at this picture I see an adventurous girl who love to explore or that what I assume with her comfy converse and her tattered jeans. However, some people could argue that what she is wearing is not 100% practical for exploring because she is wearing white trainners, which could get ruined easily if she go exploring in the woods.

By taking photos in this style links well to my autumn boots because I have manage to take photos of my boots from an unusual viewpoint, the same as what Gee has done. But the only difference is that mine have been taking in a position above my boots, whether Gee has been taken from behind. Another quality that links the two photos together is the style of the shoe been used, even though they look comfy to walk in some people will suggest that these shoes are fashion items and not 100% suitable for taking long autumn walk in.
