Halloween Shoot: The difference between edited images

The Original


By editing this image called Hiding Pumpkins on Instagram has made the detail in the wood slightly stand out because you can see the different tones in colour that runs along the tree.
Also if you look closely in the background you can see the bed of dead leaves they are resting on.


These next two photos have been edited on Photoshop. The first one is called All Day and the second one shown is called Neon Lights.
The quality in the image All Day is much better compared to Hiding Pumpkins because the lighting shown in All Day is a dark blue which make the image look like it has been taken on the night-time. Therefore this image links well with celebration of Halloween because it is at this time of the year where people generally dress up as scary creatures, such as Pumpkins, Ghosts and Witches.
Neon Lights has been edited in a way that is different to the rest this is because I have chosen to use the effect called Glowing edges to give it the look of the neon lights around the two pumpkins . By using this effect has made this image look unusal in a way which requires the viewer to look hard at it to work out what it actually is.
