I have to admit taking photos for this shoot has to be one of my favourite shoots of all time because I got the chance to visit Venice, when I was on holiday with my mum in the summer of 2016. The best thing about Venice is that it is bursting with culture, as you can probably tell from my many images. They are many wonderful photos I could chose to write about but I believe that these few photos best describe Venice in its best possible way.

Here, is one of my images of the Gondola's which are heavily relied on as a form of transport and bringing tourism into the city. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to have a journey on these boats round Venice. So I decided that an incredible photo of them and them being used by tourist throughout my day spent there.

After editing these two photos I feel that they are more sharper and brighter to the eye. This meaning that my viewer can appreciate the city of Venice more. The reason why I decided to use these two images is because Gondola's can been seen as a main symbol of Venice. This is because Venice is known for being called "City of Water" with its 118 cannels all carefully intertwined in this tiny island, built in the 15th Century. Therefore, without the Gondolas or boats the people of Venice will find it hard to travel quickly and efficiently around the city.
In this image of one of the cannels I have decided to take it as a long shot simply because I wanted to get as much extraordinary architectural in the photo as possible. The composition of this image starts at the bottom of the river then, with the help of the Gondola, will help your eyes naturally move up the river and along the buildings.
This shoot links well with the season summer because during this time people tend to take days out or go on holidays to places like Venice where they can learn about the culture.
