Jordan Liberty

Jordan Liberty is an American make up artist and photographer. His iconic work has been seen on national TV, along with catwalks at New York Fashion Week and in magazines worldwide such as Glamour.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Is one of his pieces of work. What I like about this photo is how simplistic her make up looks but the added volume to her hair and a deep berry lipstick altogether make this image stand out from a crowd.

When I look at this image I think it I Is very similar to my Winter inspired look because they have used a dark berry lipstick, like I have done, which can be linked back to the coldness of winter. Also the way they have styled her hair to be very big and messy in a way that takes up the majority of the space in the shot. But the main reason why I feel I can relate my work to this photographer is because he has included two silver but very small flowers under her eyes, which strongly symbolises the season of summer. But by using very tiny flowers could also represent how different each season is and how fast nature can change In a short period of time.

This next image can again be linked back to my autumn looks simply because of the chosen colour of red he has decided to use. Therefore, I believe that the colour red can be used to represent the season autumn and the earthy tones that appear at this time.

Also my Spring makeup shoot can also be linked to Jordan Liberty as well as my seasonal shoot. For this shoot I have created a collection of images with elegant and simple make up to fit in with the season of spring, which is all about the innocents and new beginnings.

Here is one of my images called Innocent Girl. This image links well with Liberty work because in the photos he uses object to help with the theme of his work. Therefore I have decided to include a bunch of fresh roses scattered around in the background.
